The research team has got their idea from the class of project which they have visited in a medical hospital where a pacemaker surgery has been observed by them. They noticed that an incise drape- which was an adhesive and antimicrobial sheet has been infused with iodine has been placed by the doctors while doing surgery on the site of the incision and after that this product has been developed by the engineers.
